Introduction

OBOT-VII is a six-axis robotic arm for robotics engineering and intelligent manufacturing engineering professional practice teaching, rated load 3Kg, range of motion 650mm, using high-precision servo motors and harmonic reducer, modular and detachable body structure design, robotic arm body assembly experiments can be carried out. Dual system design, can realize the use and development under the demonstrator and ROS. Through the supporting scene application module, typical industrial process applications such as object handling palletizing, trajectory teaching and parts assembly can be realized.


By carrying out the corresponding practical training courses, it helps students to understand the main mechanical structure, control mode and operating characteristics of industrial robots, understand the software architecture of ROS system, familiarize with the use of industrial robot tutor, and familiarize with the rapid development, testing and verification of robot algorithms. Thus, they can master the relevant knowledge of subjects such as mechanical principles, robot demonstration programming, trajectory planning, robot kinematics and dynamics, sensing and automatic control.
