Introduction

The outdoor binocular adaptive vision system developed by the center adopts the image fusion technology combined with the online adjustment of camera parameters in the pre-processing part to adapt to the change of light caused by indoor and outdoor switching, which can be used in the outdoor of strong sunshine or uneven light and dark scenes, and the post-processing part of the system adopts the target recognition algorithm and binocular ranging function with high-precision calibration, which can realize the recognition of targets in the environment of complex and variable light and the extraction of 3D position information, especially suitable for the recognition of robots in unstructured/non-standardized outdoor scenes. The system can realize target recognition and 3D position information extraction in complex and changing lighting environments, which is especially suitable for robots to work in unstructured/non-standardized outdoor scenes.

 

Outdoor binocular adaptive vision technology has the following characteristics:

     1. high dynamic fusion imaging technology, adapt to strong light / dim environment: high dynamic fusion of each photo information details, maximize the reconstruction of the real scene, applicable to strong light / dim environment;

     2. the use of light and shadow balance image processing, suitable for shadow projection occasions: light and shadow balance so that the edge of the black son of enhancement, checkerboard light / dark visual sense is more consistent;

     3.Optimized binocular calibration process to achieve good ranging accuracy.


The technology has been applied in intelligent loading and unloading robot,robot of chess algorithm development platform.
